Brewing Methods

CHEMEX

Chemex is a coffee maker that produces an incredibly clean cup of coffee. Invented in the 1940s and manufactured in Western Massachusetts, this coffee brewing device uses paper filters that are 20% to 30% heavier than other filters on the market. These filters are designed to retain more of the suspended oils during the extraction process, resulting in a crisp and clean cup of coffee. Additionally, the Chemex filters ensure that no solids pass through the filter, giving you a smooth and consistent cup every time.

AEROEXPRESS

When it comes to brewing coffee, the AeroPress is a popular choice amongst coffee enthusiasts and baristas alike. At Un Attimo, we take pride in using Aeropress to brew some of the most flavorful and rich coffee you’ll ever taste. Invented by Alan Adler in 2005, this portable and simple device has become a staple for both professional coffee shops and home kitchens. With its unique brewing process, the Aeropress is able to extract the best flavors from your coffee grounds, allowing you to enjoy every subtle note and aroma. Whether you’re a seasoned coffee drinker or just beginning to explore the world of premium coffee, we invite you to try our AeroPress coffee and taste the difference for yourself.

HARIO V60

If you’re looking for a great pour-over coffee maker, look no further than the Hario V60. This coffee brewing device is both convenient and affordable. Invented by Hario in Japan in 2004, it features a distinctive V shape and 60º angle, giving it its name. The Hario V60 comes in various materials, including glass, plastic, metal, and ceramic. With its uniquely designed filter, the V60 produces a clean and crisp cup of coffee with every brew, allowing you to enjoy the full flavor and aroma of your coffee beans.

CLEVER DRIPPER

The Clever Dripper offers a unique coffee brewing experience. While it may look like a pour-over method at first glance, it’s actually a combination of both filter and immersion brewing. To use the Clever Dripper, you’ll completely submerge the ground coffee particles in water, allowing for the extraction process to begin. Once it’s ready, you’ll open up the valve and the coffee will be filtered, resulting in a clean and delicious cup of coffee. The Clever Dripper is best suited for medium-coarse grind size. At Un Attimo, we love the versatility that the Clever Dripper offers, and our baristas are excited to craft the perfect cup of coffee for you using this unique brewing method.

FRENCH PRESS

For a classic and versatile brewing method, look no further than the French Press. While the name suggests a French origin, variations of this method have been around for over 100 years and were actually patented by Attili Calimani from Italy in 1929. The French Press features a simple design consisting of a carafe and a plunger assembly. While this method produces a rich and flavorful cup of coffee, those who prefer a smoother texture may not enjoy the sandy feeling associated with French Press coffee. However, this brewing method is forgiving and can be less precise compared to others. At Un Attimo, we love using this brewing method to create the perfect cup of coffee, and our baristas are always ready to guide you through the process.
